Workshop attendees will receive personal assistance and guidance in completing financial aid forms for the CNMI Scholarship, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, the Saipan Higher Education Financial Aid, and other scholarships.
NMC staff from the Office of Admissions and Records will also be present to assist new students with the enrollment and application process.
“We are inviting interested individuals to take advantage of our services during the NMC ‘Cash for College’ workshop,” said NMC interim President Lorraine T. Cabrera. “The purpose of this workshop is to assist students in their efforts to obtain much needed financial aid for college and to encourage students to pursue higher education.”
The free workshop will be held on June 19 at the As Terlaje campus in Building A. Participants can stop by at anytime between the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Participants are highly encouraged to bring a valid identification card, tax forms, proof of residency for 2008 and 2009, a proof of continuing residency, and an official high school transcript.
