Chacha school to host youth summit

Geena Camacho Sambile, advisor, Kagman High School chapter, said other schools will be invited as well, most especially youth leadership groups such as the National Honor Society, the Junior Reserves Officers Training Corps, and Student Council, to name a few.

Sambile said the main focus for the summit will be  academic achievement with Marianas High School principal Craig Garrison as the keynote speaker.

The overall Youth Advisory Panel advisor is Hopwood Junior High School principal Jonas Barcinas who told Variety the topics for discussion for the summit will be eight areas students and parents are often concerned about:

•Bullying

•Academic achievement

•Stress & time management

•High school/college preparation

•Parental involvement

•Healthy relationships

•Leadership skills and

•Building self-esteem

Barcinas said he is “an agent of change” and proud to be a part of making sure the students and parents gather at these summits. As a result, it will create an ideal school environment that will be a better place to learn and grow.
