Chamber executive director Richard A. Pierce said past president Jim Arenovski will conduct the election process. Candidates are current president Douglas Brennan for president, Vincent Seman for vice president, Jolene G. Torres for secretary, and Michael S. Johnson for treasurer.
Brennan is the vice president and general manager of Microl Corp. Seman is the general/legal counsel for Century Insurance Company Ltd. Torres is the managing director of Marianas International Travel Agency while Johnson is the managing partner of Deloitte in Saipan and Palau.
Candidates for the 2012 board of directors are Dr. Alan Markoff, president and CEO of Tooth Works Dental Clinic and Open Choice Dental Insurance Company; Velma Ann M. Palacios, manager of engineering and plant technical services at IT&E; Eric Plinske, Saipan branch manager for Staywell Insurance; Alex A. Sablan, marketing manager for Saipan Shipping Company; and Melvin A. Tenorio from Marianas Pacific Distributors Inc. and brand manager for Brystol Myers Squib.
Pierce said additional nominations will be accepted during the meeting tomorrow.
