They also didn’t prevent it from celebrating the holiday season.
All the personnel of the mayor’s office gathered yesterday to let the community know they are always ready and willing to serve.
Wearing Santa Claus caps, Mayor Donald G. Flores and his staff posed for a Christmas photo outside their office at the Afetnas Business Center in San Antonio.
“We would like to extend our warmest greetings to the community,” he said.
The mayor also thanked his personnel for “bearing with me as we serve the people.”
The spirit of Christmas is all around at the mayor’s office where “awesome” yet simple Christmas decorations can be seen since last week.
Flores said his staff will be wearing Christmas attires next week so they can join visitors, guests and customers in celebrating the holiday season.
“Happy holidays to the community that we are serving!” said Michael Q. Tomokane, a community service employee of the mayor’s office.
Richard Q. Santos, another staffer, thanked the mayor for providing him a job.
“We always thank the community whom we served and the mayor. I hope we will have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,” James Villagomez said.
Vinycia Seman, the mayor’s executive secretary, said she wishes all families a blessed and safe Christmas.
“Let us give thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior and celebrate His special birth,” she added.
She said the mayor’s office is looking forward to another year of serving the community.
Last night, the mayor’s office held its Christmas party.
