Commerce and SBDC Network present export workshop

THE CNMI Department of Commerce, in collaboration with the CNMI Small Business Development Center Network at Northern Marianas College, is proud to present a special workshop titled “What to Expect When You’re Exporting” on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Azucena Room, Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan.

This complimentary workshop is designed specifically for licensed business owners and entrepreneurs with products ready to enter foreign markets. Seating is limited to 25 participants, and registration is required.

Participants will:

• Gain foundational knowledge on exporting products and services

• Learn how to save time, money, and reduce risk when exporting

• Discover financial resources available such as EXIM Bank, SBA STEP, WUSATA, et.al.

The workshop will feature Chuck Lopez, MBA, director of Southeast Asia at Global Risk Mitigation, as keynote speaker. With over 18 years of experience in international business development across Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Thailand, Lopez brings unique insights into how small businesses can expand globally and pursue federal contracts.
