Community volunteers, Saipan mayor’s office clean up CK cemetery

Community volunteer Max Aguon has been helping the Saipan mayor’s office clean up the Chalan Kanoa cemetery for annual All Saints Day/All Souls Day commemoration. Contributed photos

Aguon said they also helped the Saipan mayor’s staffers in setting up a barricade to prevent vehicles from accessing the area where Mass will be held.

Aguon said they collected a total of 1,320 lbs. of trash on Saturday and Sunday.

“Mayor David Apatang is doing a great job in ensuring the CK cemetery is ready,” Aguon said. “I thank Mayor Apatang for allowing me and other volunteers to help his staffers.”
