On or about May 16, 2007, Salas pushed and threw his former spouse, according to the Attorney General’s Office which charged Salas in Aug. 2008.
Salas, however, departed the CNMI on July 18, 2009, and the court has removed from its calendar his arraignment scheduled for Aug. 31, 2009 because summons was not served.
On Aug. 26, 2011, Assistant Attorney General Shelli Neal asked the court to dismiss the case against Salas which Govendo granted.
