Inos granted the motion for bail modification filed by attorney Joaquin DLG. Torres on behalf of his client, John Mendiola Camacho, 40.
Associate Judge Kenneth L. Govendo did not allow Camacho to post bail.
But Inos later set a $25,000 bail which can be posted as a property bond.
Camacho was released to the custody of his father, Luis Salas Camacho.
Inos directed the defendant not to have any contact with Jennifer Quitugua Camacho and her three children.
John Camacho, who was arrested early this month, was charged with disturbing the peace, assault, assault and battery, and child abuse.
Detective Peter Aldan told the court that John Camacho threatened to kill his wife and children once he gets out of jail.
“This is the fourth time that Jennifer was given shelter because of this recurring domestic incident,” Aldan told the court.
