Customers booked on Delta-ticketed flights to, from or through airports in Japan through March 15 may make a one-time change for travel with the same origin and destination as long as new flights are ticketed and rescheduled with travel beginning by March 31.
Due to earlier runway and facility closures at Tokyo’s Narita and Haneda airports, 29 Delta flights were cancelled Friday, March 11 into and out of Tokyo. Delta operates nearly 60 daily flights to and from Narita and Haneda airports.
Delta is working to safely reaccommodate customers to their final destinations as quickly as possible.
All customers traveling in impacted markets should check their flight status at delta.com before arriving at the airport.
Delta will continue to monitor the impact from the earthquake and provide the latest updates at delta.com and twitter.com/DeltaNewsroom.
