Kagman JROTC cadets and Marianas High School cadets with Division of Environmental Quality staff worked together to police up one of Saipan’s most popular and beautiful beaches, Marine Beach.
DEQ provided trash bags, rubber gloves, water and juice for the 38 volunteers from the two JROTC units.
The cadets collected two DEQ truck loads of debris to be hauled away.
This is a first for KagHS and MHS to work together to serve the community.
MSG Burke from KagHS said: “This is a team work at its best and we hope to work together more to accomplish other projects for our community. This teaches our young citizens to volunteer to help others and to keep our island clean and beautiful.”
