DEPARTMENT of Public Lands Secretary Sixto Igisomar issued the following statement on Wednesday:

“It is with profound sadness that we mourn the passing of our beloved colleague and friend, Bernadita S. San Nicolas, director of the Tinian office of the Department of Public Lands.

“Bernadita joined the DPL family on November 25, 2019, and from that day forward, she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to the people of Tinian and the mission of our department. Her unwavering commitment, grace, and professionalism left a lasting impact not only on our team, but on the many lives she touched in her years of service.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and the Tinian community. May you find comfort in knowing that her legacy of service and compassion will not be forgotten.”
