Amid numerous inquiries regarding the status of this case, the DPS Criminal Investigations Bureau commander, Capt. Simon Manacop, confirmed that detectives have interviewed several persons who have provided substantial information indicating that criminal acts were committed. Direct statements from victims were also corroborated by witnesses.
DPS has invited Propst for an interview, but he has declined and directed all correspondence to his attorney.
At this time, DPS can confirm that several complaints have been filed and that the department is currently investigating the matter. DPS continues to interview witnesses related to this investigation. DPS is also currently trying to reach out to off-island individuals who may have been a victim or at the scene during the time these alleged acts have taken place.
This investigation is being conducted in a thorough manner and further details pertaining to the case are not being shared at this time in an effort to protect the victims in this case and any potential victim(s) who have not yet come forward.
