(DPS) — The Department of Public Safety will conduct DUI sobriety checkpoints on Monday, Sept. 2, 2024.
The first setup will be on Chalan Pale Arnold, Chalan Laulau on the southbound outer lane by Ambyth Shipping, from 6:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The second setup will along Chalan Monsignor Guerrero om Chalan Kiya, on the westbound lane by CUC Waterloo from 8:45 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The purpose of these scheduled checkpoints is to promote public safety while increasing awareness of the dangers of driving while under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication. DPS would also like to remind the public to have a safe and enjoyable Labor Day weekend.
