Faisao wants $6.5K for new equipment

Faisao, in his letter to delegation chairman Rep. Ramon A. Tebuteb, R-Saipan, said his department needs to buy one riding mower or tractor and two bushcutters for the maintenance of the sports complex in Susupe and the softball field on Capital Hill.

The tractor is worth $5,499.99 while the two bushcutters cost $549.99 each.

Faisao said  aside from the Division of Youth Services, the other groups that use  sports facilities are youth sports organizations, public and private school sports groups, government employees sports leagues, business sports organizations, village sports organizations, Marianas High School physical education students, and other sports enthusiasts.

“Maintaining our ground facilities is an investment for our social, economic, and educational enrichments,” Faisao added.
