He was the Marine recruiting station officer on Saipan from 2015 to 2018.
“My goal has always been to promote the Marine Corps for its positive attributes and career enhancing opportunities,” he said. “I hope more of our CNMI youth will take advantage of this opportunity and set a career path for themselves and for their families as a United States Marine.”
He noted that Marines Chris Reyes and Evan Belcher, both from the CNMI, were also promoted to the rank of corporal this month.
Deleon Guerrero said he is looking forward to a life of retirement sometime after 2023.
He is hoping to move back to Saipan to continue to motivate the youth to seek self-improvement and become productive members of society.
