Liddle said about 30 participants signed up.
“As we are very new in the island and just starting off, we were expecting somewhere around 10 or more participants but we were very happy with the attendance,” Liddle said.
He added that not all of the participants were business operators or owners.
“There were some participants who were sent by their employers to represent the company,” Liddle said.
Most of the participants signed up for the five business workshops which were designed to improve the “business prowess” or business owners and prepare them if they are considering starting a new business in the future.
Liddle said SBDC, working in partnership with the Commonwealth Development Authority and the Commerce Department, will be conducting more workshops for the public.
SBDC also conducts customized workshops to meet the specific needs of different companies.
