As part of the administration’s ongoing efforts to strengthen and expand its partnership and ties with South Korea, Gov. Arnold I. Palacios and Lt. Gov. David M. Apatang recently met with Lee Seo Young, the Korean consul general based in Hawaii, and In Kook Kim, head of the Korean Consulate in Guam. They were joined by Kim Bo Chyul, consular assistant, who is based in the CNMI, and Kyoung-chyan Joo, the Korean consul in Guam. Young and Kim expressed their gratitude to Governor Palacios and Lt. Governor Apatang for their support of the Korean community on Saipan. They also discussed strategies to bolster support for the Korean business community and Korean tourism to the CNMI.
