The successful event held on March 5 was one of GMS PTA fundraising activities with the goal of raising money to pay all costs the school will incur in participating in this year’s Parade of Books.
As suggested by students, parents and school staff, GMS PTA will be using also part of the walkathon proceeds as contribution to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The organizers of the walkathon wish to say “Thank You” also to LSG Sky Chef, NMC Nursing Department, and to all the people and corporate sponsors who generously contributed time, efforts, encouragement, materials and supplies which made the success of the event possible.
