Guam mourns passing of NMI 2nd lady

“I join the people of the Northern Mariana Islands, and the people of Guam, in mourning the loss of Dolores Agulto Inos. I extend my sincere condolences to her husband Lt. Gov. Eloy Inos, their family, friends, loved ones during this difficult time,” said Guam Congresswoman Madeleine Z. Bordallo.

Guam Gov. Eddie B. Calvo and Lt. Gov. Ray Tenorio in a joint statement said: “Today, we join the people of the Northern Marianas in honoring the memory of Dolores Agulto Inos. As public servants, we know that the love and support of our partners is irreplaceable and we send our sincerest condolences to Lt. Gov. Inos during this most difficult time. First lady Christine Calvo, attorney Naoko G. Shimizu, along with our families and all the people of Guam, will keep Mrs. Inos, Lt. Gov. Inos and all the people of the CNMI in our thoughts and prayers.”

Mrs. Inos was called to rest at the age of 63 at 4 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6., at the Asian Hospital in the Philippines.

Her funeral was set for Monday.
