“We have started coordinating with the schools and we are urging the students to start forming their bands, or for the existing bands to continue practicing for the competition,” Hard Rock Café operations manager Rey Perez said.
They aim to tap the musical talents of high school students.
“Hard Rock Café is known for its music and memorabilia in addition to the great food and through events like this, we would like to unearth and expose the talents and skills of the high school students on island. We know there are a lot of talents here,” Perez said.
There many rock bands on island but the competition is for high school students only.
Perez said as soon as they get applications, they will set a meeting and finalize the date and other details.
There is no limit to the number of members in each band, and to the number of rock bands from each school that can participate.
