Santos, Ind.-Rota, introduced House Resolution 17-39 to recognize and to honor the women in the commonwealth.
The resolution was adopted by the House of Representatives yesterday in line with the celebration of CNMI Women’s Month and CNMI Women’s Day on March 8.
The House also adopted Santos’s resolution expressing support for President Obama’s nomination of Judge Ramona V. Manglona as federal court judge. The U.S Senate has to confirm her nomination.
