Koblerville Elementary School’s Glee Club entertained the audience by singing several Christmas carols.
Hyatt provided champagne to toast the Christmas season, as well as finger foods for the guests.
Representatives of the Make-A-Wish Foundation initiated the lighting of the tree. For the past years, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has been the recipient of Hyatt’s donations through the hotel’s fundraising events such as its annual golf tournament.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation is a non-profit organization that helps fulfill the wishes of children who have life threatening diseases.
Hyatt marketing communications assistant manager Luis Villagomez said they were happy for the turnout of the guests.
Guests took turns having their photos taken near the Christmas tree.
With the lighting of the giant tree in the Hyatt lobby, the hotel also lit all the colorful Christmas lights at the hotel entrance and at the garden.
“We just want to make our guests and everybody here feel the spirit of Christmas,” Villagomez said.
