Academy dance instructor Anna Glushko said this year, they will be holding the show at the Visitor Center of American Memorial Park. The previous events were held in the Theater Hall of Palms Resort Saipan, but the hotel has “temporarily closed for major renovations.”
The international ballet show this year is slated for Dec. 10 and 11.
“It will be our first time to hold the international ballet show at a new venue, and we have several adjustments to make but we are confident that we can still get the same support from the community like the past years,” Glushko said.
In December last year, 60 students from Glushko’s Academy of Performing Arts showcased their talents and danced alongside world-class ballet performers from Russia, Japan and South Korea.
Last May, Glushko’s Academy of Performing Arts staged its yearly fundraiser show for the holiday special.
Glushko said they need thousands of dollars to bring in world-class ballet performers from Russia, Japan and South Korea each year but the continued support of parents and generous financial contributions of several sponsors allow them to continue holding the annual shows.
