KagHS Ayuyu Battalion launches Christmas food drive

“The economy is very bad but that will not deter us from trying to get in more donations and at the end of the drive we will donate them to Karidat. Canned food and non-perishable items are accepted,” Master Sgt. James R. Burke told Variety.

Everyone needs something to brighten up their holidays. The most simple and most priceless gift that we all experience is the enjoyment of a simple meal surrounded by loved ones. It is a privilege most of us take for granted on a daily basis.

Those who laze around watching TV and munching on snacks have no idea what it feels like to wonder where their next meal will come.

Those who are not so unfortunate should extend a helping hand.

The KagHS JROTC is one of the groups in the CNMI that always donate food to the needy.

The Ayuyu battalion will be accepting donations starting today until the 22nd of this month. All proceeds will be donated to Karidat.
