The school’s basic electronics class taught 49 students about electronics components.
Benjie Ladringan, the instructor, said his students learned the proper way of assembling a fully functio ning amplifier.
The students completed their amplifier project in one semester.
The amplifier is now ready for use, Ladringan said.
His students, who are from ninth to 12th grades, also learned how to make an RJ54 cable, he said.
Anna Patricia Ada, one of his students, said she learned a lot — including fixing a broken speaker.
“This project can help not only me but everyone,” she said, “If your speaker is broken you can make another one and it’s going to be a fun experience.”
Ladringan said his students learn about parts and assembly as well the modern trends in electronics.
Knowing how to fix electronic gadgets allows you to save on repair and replacement costs, he added.
His class covers lessons on electrical components as well as circuits such as resistors, capacitors, inductors, transistors and integrated circuits.
