Koblerville poker game room robbed

 

Department of Public Safety spokeswoman Lei Ogumoro said DPS received the call about the incident at 1:42 a.m.

Robbed was the High Roller Poker Game Room across from the Han Nam Market in Koblerville.  

Ogumoro said police personnel were immediately dispatched to the game room.

Preliminary investigation showed that three masked men entered the establishment and robbed a staff member who was gathering coins from the poker machines.

A witness described the three suspects to be light skinned, around 5’6” to 5’ 7” in height, and “possibly of Asian background” based on their language and  accent.

The witness said the three suspects wore black masks, dark t-shirts and long blue jeans.

The three robbers fled the scene “with an undetermined amount of money” on a silver sedan with license plate number ACC-798.

Ogumoro said investigation is still ongoing.

DPS is urging anyone who has information about this crime to call the NMI Crime Stoppers Hotline at 234-7272.

All calls are kept anonymous and no caller ID is used.

A reward of up to $1,000 is given for any information leading to an arrest.
