‘Kojack’ denies ‘ice’ charges

The AGO filed one count of trafficking of controlled substance, and one count of illegal possession of controlled substance against Mafnas, 34.

On March 3, 2010, a “confidential source” of the Department of Public Safety’s Drug Enforcement Task Force Unit  twice purchased “ice” from Mafnas, the AGO stated.

Chief Prosecutor Rosemond B. Santos appeared on behalf of the government while Assistant Public Defender Richard Miller represented Mafnas, who was in the custody of the Department of Corrections.
