Kosrae Visitors Bureau launches new website

The website offers the latest information about Kosrae’s white beaches, amazing dive sites, fun events, interesting people and ancient history.

Located in the Pacific Ocean between Hawaii and Guam, Kosrae is an undiscovered island treasure that offers a variety of diving, fishing, jungle hiking and cultural exploration for the diver and eco-traveler interested in visiting one of the Pacific’s most unspoiled islands.

The new Kosrae Visitors Bureau website includes information on top dive spots such as Walung Coral Shelf and Hiroshi Point, dive boat operators, fishing charters, Kosrae’s ecolodges, hotels and homestays, Micronesian culture and archeological ruins, as well as details on tours such as the Wiya Bird Cave, four-wheel-drive trips to the ancient village of Walung, the ancient Yela Ka forest, mangrove canoe tours and hiking to the Menke or Lelu ruins.

“Our new website will tell travelers what they need to know about diving our amazing coral reefs or exploring our ancient Kosraen culture,” said Grant Ismael, executive director of the Kosrae Visitors Bureau. “There is so much to see and do.”
