“Rain or shine, we will always be available to the people,” said Cruz, the leader of the indigenous group Taotao Tano.
Cruz said he was grateful to the people who attended their rally.
“I appreciate the team effort of the committee that made the campaign possible despite the storm,” Cruz said.
Deleon Guerero, in a separate interview, said they proved on Monday that they do not change their minds about their plans despite “bad circumstances.”
During the rally, which was scheduled a few weeks ago, Deleon Guerero discussed his plans for the Commonwealth Utilities Corp.
A former senator, Deleon Guerrero also served as CUC executive director.
