The monthly Show Time Challenge for this month was originally scheduled for March 12.
JC Café manager Lot G. Bunao said the “LOL — Laugh Out Loud” event drew a lot of participants, including tourists on Tinian.
The contestants impressed the audience with their different skills and talents in making people laugh.
First place winner Johnson Delos Santos got the judges’ nod with his skills in dancing while carving a pumpkin. The second place winner was Rowena Laurio while the third prize went to Thess Salazar. The three winners went home with $100, $75 and $50.
The guests also joined several other contests such as “how low can you dance,” removing dollar bills from a pile of bottles, and other entertaining games.
Judges for the night were Joey Lenteja, Carlene Mendiola and Marlyn Santos.
LOL is a contest for people who can crack jokes, tell funny stories or do stunts to make other people laugh.
Bunao said the next competitions are set for April 9, May 7 and June 4. The grand finals will be on July 9 and the top three winners will go home with $250 $100 and $50.
