Guerrero said Executive Order 2020-03 declared a price freeze adding: “I do not understand why the governor cannot [also] declare a salary freeze.”
He added, “We should be mindful of the economic state of the CNMI.”
He wants to know why Lowe’s salary is $80,000 instead of $50,000 or $55,000, adding that the AG should be mindful of this “additional money” in view of another round of austerity measures.
“I am very saddened to see this again,” Guerrero said.
