Eight spaces will be offered — half of a 20 ft. by 40 ft. food tent set with a picnic table for $40 rental fee — and food vendors are welcome to reserve a slot.
Book lovers James Quitugua and Ashley Kaipat of Dandan said they are looking forward to the upcoming book sale.
Quitugua said not only is he a book lover but he is a fan of food as well and is eager to see which vendor will show up at the event.
“I’m glad to know that the Library Friends are giving the opportunity for other businesses to benefit from their book sale event,” said Kaipat. “As for the food vendors, we definitely need the refreshments though so it’s a relief to know that food sale is welcomed.”
For reservations, contact the library front desk at 235-7322. Location of space will be on a first reserved, first choice basis.
Sebangiol said if they receive a big response for reservations, they may be able to add more spaces.
The book and parking lot sale will be held on Saturday, April 16, from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Sebangiol would also like to remind members of a meeting this Saturday, April 2, at 11 a.m. in the public library.
