(CNMI HSEM) — The CNMI Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management will be troubleshooting and testing the all-hazard mobile siren on Jan. 23, 2026.
The testing will take place from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. During this time, the mobile siren will be activated multiple times, each lasting approximately two minutes. The testing will occur on a route that includes the Marpi landfill area, going through the San Juan area, and ending at Route 36.
This test is a critical part of the HSEM’s preparedness and response strategy. The all-hazard mobile siren is designed to alert residents to potential threats, including tsunamis, severe weather, wildfires, and air raid warnings.
This is only a test. Residents do not need to take action during the all-hazard mobile siren activation.
HSEM is committed to ensuring the safety and preparedness of the CNMI community.
