(SCC) — With just two weeks remaining, the Saipan Chamber of Commerce will host its most prestigious annual event, the 2025 Business Person of the Year & Board of Directors Installation Gala, on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Kensington Hall, Kensington Hotel Saipan.
The annual gala brings together leaders from the private, public, and nonprofit sectors to recognize excellence in business, community leadership, and service to the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
The evening’s highlight is the presentation of the 2025 Business Person of the Year Award, honoring an individual whose leadership, innovation, and commitment have made a meaningful impact on Saipan and the CNMI. Nominations are now closed, and the Chamber will soon open voting as part of its enhanced selection process.
Additional awards to be presented include:
• Chamber Member of the Year
• Non-Profit of the Year
• Small Business of the Year
• Public Agency of the Year (new award category)
The Business Person of the Year selection follows a weighted voting process:
• 60% — Past Business Person of the Year recipients
• 40% — Saipan Chamber of Commerce membership
The gala also serves as the Chamber’s annual membership meeting and will feature the official installation of the 2026–2027 SCC Board of Directors, along with recognition of past Business Person of the Year awardees.
