BUSINESSMAN Steve Jang on Tuesday donated three solar-powered lamps to the Carolinian Affairs Office.
CAO Executive Assistant Felix Nogis said they are very grateful to Jang for his contribution.
“I want to extend my sincere gratitude to our friend Steve Jang for helping out the office by donating solar-powered lights that we will use to secure the Carolinian Village compound. It really helps,” Nogis said.
He added that the Carolinian Village, which includes a beach park, basketball court, and the Carolinian Utt, badly needs adequate lighting.
“We have had issues with vandals and burglars, so these lights will help secure the area and allow people to enjoy the park safely,” Nogis said, adding that the solar-powered lights will be installed at the back of the office to protect a traditional canoe that belongs to CAO.
Jang, who owns Plumeria Steakhouse and Ete Cafe in Garapan, said he was pleased to donate the solar-powered lights as a neighbor and member of the community.
The solar lights, he said, “are a small contribution toward improving safety, visibility, and sustainability for the surrounding area. I believe that when neighbors support one another, we strengthen not only our infrastructure but also our sense of unity and responsibility to the community.”
