(MV) — Gov. Arnold I. Palacios, in a memorandum on Thursday, said he has appointed Luella I. Marciano to be the resident executive for the Indigenous Affairs Office.
“Her appointment will require Senate confirmation,” the governor said. “Until the Senate takes action on the appointment, Ms. Marciano is hereby designated acting resident executive for Indigenous Affairs Office. Please extend your cooperation to Resident Executive Designate Luella I. Marciano as she assumes her new duties and responsibilities.”
If confirmed by the Senate, Marciano will succeed Ross Manglona, who passed away on Nov. 27, 2023.
