The secretaries had a wonderful time bonding with their employers outside an office environment, indulging in the special lunch while lucky winners went home with attractive prizes from the raffle draws.
Coastal Resource Management administrator Rita Dela Cruz said it was her first time to treat her staff to celebrate the Administrative Professional’s Day since she just took over the post recently.
Dela Cruz, who brought four administrative assistants with her, said the support staff members are very important in the daily operations of the office because “without them we would be lost.”
“We are glad to be part of the celebration and we appreciate being recognized for our work in the office every day,” one of the CRM administrative assistants said. All the CRM staffers won prizes.
Glushko’s Academy of Performing Arts president Dr. Gene Sylvester Eagle-Oden told the Variety that celebrating the Administrative Professionals Day is one way to reward his staff for all the hard work they do for the whole year.
“They have been very efficient in their work and this is just one day of the year to show that we appreciate their work,” Eagle-Oden said.
The Hyatt Regency was just one of the major hotels and restaurants in the island that hosted lunch for the 2010 Administrative Professionals Day which was celebrated worldwide yesterday.
