Faustino Ponciano Litulumar of Koblerville was directed to appear in court on Oct. 19.
Assistant Attorney General George L. Hasselback filed the complaint, which stated that Litulumar repeatedly slapped the victim on March 3.
On March 14, Litulumar again repeatedly slapped her face, banged her head against a tree and choked her, the prosecution stated.
After the victim was able to escape Litulumar’s initial assault, he still chased her, pushed her forcibly against the car and slapped her again, the complaint said.
No other details were provided.
