“This is our way of giving back to the community,” hotel human resources manager Lupe Flores said.
This year, she added, was a special treat for the manamko’ because they were entertained by the hotel’s finest performers.
Some of the manamko’ joined the dancers on stage.
In previous years, Flores said they served Thanksgiving luncheon at the Aging Center.
“This year, we want them to experience a different environment,” she said.
Rose DLG Mondala, Aging Office director, said the manamko will continue to patronize the hotel by holding some of their events there.
“Let us also pray that more tourists will come to the hotel,” she told the manamko’.
Mondala said the Aging Office is now preparing certificates of appreciation that will be distributed to all the donors and supporters of the senior citizens.
