“The operation was the result of a Crime Stoppers tip reporting marijuana growth operation on Mr. [Joseph Aguon] Reyes’s property,” according to Crime Stoppers coordinator PO2 Jason Tarkong.
The operation was conducted on Wednesday, at about 2:30 p.m., at the residence of Reyes, 51, Tarkong said.
The search yielded eight marijuana plants, measuring about six feet tall, Tarkong said.
Also seized were drug paraphernalia and illegal ammunition, Tarkong added.
Reyes was charged with illegal possession of a controlled substance — marijuana — and illegal possession of ammunition.
