The Association of Northern Mariana Island Mayors or ANMIM held a working meeting of the four CNMI mayors and their associate staff at the Saipan Mayor’s Office. Also present was the newly nominated Secretary of the Department of Public Lands Sixto Igisomar and his staff. The meeting was a chance for the new secretary to formally introduce himself to the CNMI mayors and to discuss and hear out the various concerns and issues from all four of our Commonwealth’s municipalities being brought forward by the mayors. All parties pledged to start anew with a clean slate and to work in tandem to address community concerns as well as new and ongoing initiatives throughout our islands.
