McDonald’s owner-operator Marcia Ayuyu said the donation is their way of showing appreciation for the healthcare providers and front-liners at CHCC for being selfless and brave.
“They do risk their own safety to take care of our people,” she said, adding that McDonald’s management and staff are grateful for what the front-liners are doing to prevent the spread of Covid-19 on island.
Ayuyu said they prepared 100 meals on Saipan and distributed separate food packs on Guam for its front-liners as well.
On Saipan, representatives from CHCC picked up the food packs at McDonald’s Middle Road, Ayuyu said.
In times of crisis, she added, it is important that businesses are actively involved in providing assistance to those who are providing critical public health and safety services.
