MHS aviation students visit airfield

This time the class had the opportunity to enter the Freedom Air airfield and a working aircraft.

The “Aeronautical Dolphins,” as teacher John Raulerson calls his students, were able to apply what they’ve learned in class to a “live” plane.

Euphemio Feria, one of the students, said the class was very excited as it entered the plane. The students even talked to pilot Ronalds Polar about the flight and what it takes to be a full-fledged pilot.

The aviation class is the  first of its kind in the CNMI. The staff and parents of MHS are proud to have this class available to the students and said this is a “great opportunity to expand their horizon.”
