The vaccine will be available today at the Garapan street market starting at 4:30 p.m.
Roxanne Diaz, Public Health program analyst, noted the “high demand” for the vaccine.
The vaccination drive will also take place this Saturday during the Cervical Cancer Fair at the Garapan Fishing Base from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., and during the Head Start symposium at the Laulau Bay Resort in Kagman from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
During the Tuesday market at the fishing base, Commonwealth Health Center workers recorded 504 individual who availed of the vaccine.
April Camacho, vaccination program team leader, said they provided the vaccine to 625 individuals during the Sabalu Market on Saturday.
“We were expecting less because many had already received the vaccine during the first round of the campaign,” she said.
At the Tuesday market, Camacho said 23 CHC personnel, including eight nurses, administered the vaccine from 4:30 p.m. to 7:10 p.m.
The vaccination drive was conducted yesterday at Kagman, Garapan, GTC and Tanapag elementary schools.
Today, the vaccine will be available for students of Dandan, Oleai and San Vicente elementary schools; on Friday, for Koblerville, San Antonio and William S. Reyes elementary schools.
Public Health Secretary Joseph Kevin Villagomez said they have increased the number of CHC personnel administering the H1N1 vaccine.
Rota and Tinian health personnel are administering the vaccination drive on those islands, he said.
The general public can visit any health clinic in the CNMI to get vaccinated, he added.
