NMC students to visit UOG

It is the first fundraising activity of the newly established organization whose members are planning to visit the University of Guam, their president Antonio Benavente said.

The bake sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, and from   2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Food and drinks on sale include Chamorro soba, chicken kelaguen and Chamorro punch.

The group’s adviser, Judy DLG. Torres, said the bake sale “is just the beginning” of their fundraising activities.

The date of the Guam trip is yet to be finalized, she added.

The trip will allow NMC students to look into the programs offered by the University of Guam.

“This will give them an opportunity to plan ahead about what they want to do after NMC and where they want to go,” Torres said.

Graduating NMC students are encouraged to join the trip.

The Criminal Justice Students Organization is also planning to hold a mini-car show  sponsored by IT&E, a week-long breakfast event, hot lunches and Candy Gram sales.
