NZ’s Peters: Allegations vile and wrong

The Serious Fraud Office announced an investigation into the fate of donations to New Zealand First, which Peters said was “ridiculous in the extreme.”

Peters told Radio New Zealand he would talk to New Zealand Prime Minister Helen Clark about the matter.

“With the concrete evidence, she will know these allegations are vile, malevolent, evil and wrong,” he said. “I’m going to talk to the prime minister and my full considerations will be subsequent to my talks with her.”

Clark was at official engagements at two schools and was not making any comment at this stage.

Peters said he is not going to let “a few lies” stop him doing his job.
