Zhen Yu Quan and Lorelei Vinas, through lawyer Bruce Berline, filed a breach of contract complaint against Islas Marianas Inc. and David Oh.
Quan and Vinas said the defendant failed to pay wages required under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Variety tried but failed to get a comment from the defendant.
The complaint said Quan was hired as a cashier on Feb. 22, 2007.
Vinas was also hired as a cashier from Dec. 7, 2007 until Oct. 12, 2010.
Berline said his clients have not been properly compensated for their overtime.
Moreover, Quan and Vinas “were required to pay for certain fees related to the yearly renewal of their employment application/contract, including, without limitation, fees for initial contract processing and physical examination and medical certification.”
