The pilot episode, hosted by Rose Taman Ada-Hocog, will feature “Decades of Memories — A Christmas Special.”
Watch and listen to various individuals share how they celebrate Christmas.
The pilot episode will showcase Lt. Gov. Eloy Inos who will talk about Christmas on Rota, Commonwealth Utilities Corp. Executive Director Utu Abe Malae of American Samoa, Chief Public Defender Adam Hardwicke who is from the states, Krishnan Das who will talk about Malaysian, Hindu and Buddhism cultures, Teddy Guaio from Pampanga, in the Philippines, Sitae Terry of Chuuk, Benita Cepeda of Palau, Rosa Omar Tanin Castro and Jesus Kisa who will recount what Christmas was like in Tanapag and Susupe.
A new episode of “In the Spotlight” will be aired once a month and replayed during Fridays and Saturdays for the rest of the month for the time being, but Ada-Hocog said they are looking forward to producing more episodes in the future.
“With this pilot episode and for the future episodes, we hope to provide our audience with 30 minutes of an information-packed, wholesome and educational show,” she added.
Ada-Hocog, who celebrates her birthday today, said this program is her gift to the community.
For the next episode, she said they may get some legislators and other officials on board to talk about 2010, and what the community can expect in the coming year.
“In the Spotlight” is produced by Digital Motions whose program producer is Edwin Sta. Theresa.
