On Tuesday night, at least nine personnel from the Commonwealth Health Center, including two nurses, administered the vaccine to community members at the Garapan Fishing Base.
Angela Rosario, manager of the H1N1 drive on that day, said they continue to get “a good number of people who avail of the free vaccination.”
The program started at 5 p.m. and ended at 9:30 p.m. with over 145 persons given the flu shot, Rosario said.
She said Emergency Medical Services personnel John Mettao and Alejandro King were present and ready to respond to any emergency cases.
But there was no complaint of adverse reaction from the community members who received the vaccine, she added.
On Saturday, Public Health will conduct the vaccination drive during the Sabalu Market in Susupe.
As of Feb. 8, the Department of Public Health already administered 22,000 shots of the H1N1 flu vaccine in the CNMI, which included 19,565 on Saipan, 1,075 on Rota and 1,360 on Tinian.
The vaccination program also covered private schools on Feb. 16 and 17.
These included Mount Carmel School, Saipan Community School, Calvary Christian Academy, Marianas Baptist Academy, Saipan International School, and Ladera International School of Saipan.
From Feb. 19 to 25, the vaccination program was conducted at Chacha Oceanview Junior High School, Kagman High School, Marianas High School, Saipan Southern High School and Hopwood Junior High School.
