Public Health to look into misuse of gov’t vehicle complaint

“I’ve asked Mr. John Tagabuel to look into it immediately,” Villagomez said, referring to the environmental health officer.

Villagomez said, they don’t tolerate any misuse of government vehicles.

He said those found in violation will be subjected to disciplinary action.

His office, he added, is now getting information about the number of vehicles registered with his department.

A resident, who declined to be identified, told Variety that “on several occasions, I observed two government vehicles registered to the Commonwealth Health Center dropping/picking up their kids at school. This is not fair. It’s a waste of taxpayer money.”

The operator of the vehicle is reportedly assigned to the sanitation office of the Bureau of Environmental Health.

The resident said the vehicle, a white Echo, is operated by a female driver residing in Koblerville.

The resident said the Department of Public Safety should enforce the law against misuse of government vehicles.
